What a great weekend.  We stayed the weekend with my brother and sister in law.  Saturday night we had their house warming party/ pig roast, we smoked a 55-pound pig and like a 20-pound turkey.  It was a great night of family, friends, and amazing food and wine but cleaning up after a party of 40 people isn’t the greatest.  Also, we have been eating pork for two days straight lol.  Luckily my boyfriend and his brother are both chefs so on Sunday night they made my sister in law and I an amazing dinner.  So now back to reality and time to finish out the term.  I am working to finish my paper; I thought I had enough to make it 6 pages but right now its only 5.  So I have some work cut out for me in the next two days.  I am so looking forward to the little break in between terms.  Good luck to everyone trying to finish out this term!!!!

So its going to be a busy week.  We are trying to get ready to move, and my son decided to flush a ball down the toilet and my entire bathroom is flooded.  I am waiting for someone to get out here to fix it and I feel like it’s taking forever.  One of my girlfriends just got a new job so we have been helping her out by watching her daughter, because she is a single parent.  Her daughter is the same age as my twins (almost 4) not potty trained, and loves to hit and bite my children.  She is one of my best friends so I would never say no and if I was in that situation I know she would help me.  So we are trying to find ways to keep the kids entertained so that no fights are caused lol.  I can’t wait till Saturday, my brother in law is having a pig roast (he is a chef like my boyfriend) So, we are smoking a 50 pound pig.  Can’t wait to relax with family, amazing food, and great wine.  It will be much needed by the end of the week.

So we have officially decided that we will be moving to Orlando (about three hours away).  I will definitely miss the beach here in Naples.  I have lived here since I was 5 (so for 19 years).  So moving to Orlando will be very different for me.  The kids are ready to go, my daughter keeps saying she wants to live by Mickey Mouse (so as long as we are by Mickey she will be happy.)  Our apartment will be ready on the 21st of November, which is like 2 weeks away.  I am moving into an apartment I have never seen, my boyfriends cousins is getting everything together for us because he lives in the same complex.  So that is a little stressful for me, I like to know everything before I do something and never seeing the place is stressful plus trying to move 4 kids, myself, and a boyfriend in 2 weeks will add to the stress.  Not to mention we are at the end of the term.  So lets say I will be very busy in the next couple weeks.

So Halloween has finally come and gone, thank god because the kids have been talking about it since July.  Of coarse we all woke up Halloween morning sick as can be, but that didn't stop us.  The kids waited all day to go trick or treating and they were so excited when it was finally time to put costumes on.  The neighborhood we go to is such a fun place to go, there is so many people and really cool decorated houses. We got lots of candy (lots of chocolate for mommy lol).  The kids woke up this morning and the first thing they did is put there costumes back on.  This is my favorite time of year, now on to the next Holiday.  My boyfriend is a chef so we are always excited for Thanksgiving, we have already started planning recipes of things we want to make.  Then Christmas and New Years plus 4 kids birthdays from December 17-January 16.  We sure will have a busy holiday season, but I can't wait!!!!

So I am going answer one of the questions that was posted on the coarse home page
"How is school influencing your life at or up to this point?

School has definitely had a big influence on my life.  In high school I never really tried hard, our school was less then 10 minutes from the beach and that always seemed like the better choice then going to school.  I started college for a few months in business management but it was really boring to me, plus I was 18 and lived on my own and didn't always make it to school.  So now here I am 6 years later and decided that I needed to do something with my life that was gonna benefit me and my family in the long term.  My boyfriend is a chef and I developed a love for good and living and eating healthy.  I realized that maybe I could use my knowledge of food and start school to learn more about what I have a passion for.  School can be stressful at times but I have not given up, I try really hard and have made the deans list my first two semesters and working for it in my third.  I have learned so much already and am excited to learn more as time goes on.  Not only will the field I am going into help me in my career but it is also helping me in my personal life as well.  I am always using the information I learn to help my family live healthier lives.

Best place to move

So we have been trying to decide if we want to move again and where would be the better place for us and our children.  I have grown up in Naples, FL beautiful place to live with beautiful beaches.  The only problem is my boyfriend is in the restaurant industry and Naples is very seasonal.  Restaurants in the summer are very slow until about November when all of the tourists come down.  Summers are rough because hours get cut and work and it can be rough financially.  My boyfriend has been in Orlando about 3 hours away looking for a job for the past month and has found nothing, I have been staying in Cape Coral with my parents till he gets back this weekend.  So the question is where is going to be the most beneficial place for us and our children? I love Naples but it is very pricey to live there.  So we may just go back to our house in Naples and see what happens when the restaurant industry picks up.  I am glad my children are young and are not in school yet so we can take this time and figure out the best place to raise them.

Halloween!!

Time to get ready for Halloween!! My kids have been talking about Halloween and the costumes they want since July and now the week is finally here to decorate and buy costumes.  I love Halloween, I think its such a fun holiday especially with young children.  We are going to buy costumes this weekend which should be fun with 3 1/2 year old twins and a 22 month old.  They are changing their minds every week, my daughter wants to be Snow White, Dora, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast.  My son wants to be  the Incredible Hulk, and Spiderman.  (should be interesting).  We are also going to be baking Halloween related desserts, I saw cute cupcakes with Halloween themed frosting at Publix.  My favorite thing is carving pumpkins..the kids help clean it out and we bake the pumpkin seeds, then I carve it into something cool.  We are going to have a very fun and eventful weekend..cant wait!!
